The importance of the “free” perception for 0800 numbers

The importance of the “free” perception for 0800 numbers

You would say that a business client would not care if the contact phone is normal cost or not. You would say that offering a free infoline for a B2B would not make any difference because the business clients are used to call any type of phone, including international Well, is not so. Having a 0800 number is VERY important at the perception level, for various reasons: your business gets an extra value. After all, not everybody has a free phone, correct? It’s a way to differentiate between a serious company versus a riskier company. at the psychological level, when a person calls a free phone means he is seeking and appreciating also the lower risk threshold involved in starting a new cooperation. ZERO RISKS for you. “Call this FREE phone. You have nothing to lose.“ If you search on the internet, there are zillions of providers of free numbers. My personal choice is the “.com” of free numbers, 0800. Of course, there are other numbers, like 0877 and so on, but it will fail to achieve the purpose. So, if you have a business that targets people everywhere on the planet, use it! It really works! —- Later Edit. Because I was asked by some of you which provider I use, here is my answer: callforwarding.com. Is not perfect, but as far as I used until now, is by far the best...
Joe Biden and me

Joe Biden and me

This summer, the USA vice-president, Mr. Joe Biden pay a visit to Romania for 24h. As a co-founder of StartEvo, I was fortunate to meet him and exchange a few words. We thank for this opportunity to the US Embassy. We tried to film him for StartEvo as well, but the protocol did not allow it during this short intermezzo. His purpose here was to give a stronger signal on the anti-corruption fight that all society, including the NGOs like ours, should undertake....
MID (Marketing In Direct) – a great event

MID (Marketing In Direct) – a great event

Yesterday I’ve been to MID (Marketing In Direct) event, at the Diplomats Club in Bucharest. Great event, with some great/weird/creative speakers. Quite different versus what I expected, but with a lot of added value, at least for me. 🙂 Just a few learnings: – try to reduce the fixed costs and always transfer them to variable costs, tied to results; – never f***ing ever do tactics without a clean and clear strategy; – always focus on HOW fast can you start a relationship with your potential client? How difficult is for the client to buy from you? – always think how to increase the value of a client; – Passion in everything you are selling. Crazy passion! – Purpose – bigger than life purpose… transform the life of the clients; – Generically speaking, we humans are afraid of new (thanks Adrian Stanciu for a great scientifically explanation on this); – Mihaela Tatu – a great life lesson; Thank you Mihaela Petrovan & the team for a very nice organization. 🙂 And also thank indirectly to all their sponsors/partners, because is very difficult to do an event these days. And all the help the organizers can get is gold:)....
Always do business with entities that have something to lose

Always do business with entities that have something to lose

For me it matters a lot the PREDICTABILITY. Predictability makes me calm. It helps us, as a business, not to go bankrupt. Predictability helps our clients to trust us when we promise something. It helps our employees to know that they will get the money at the end of the month, no matter what. Being predictable is good for business, for the stress levels and for the life quality, in general. Because I love predictability, I hate surprises (except some nice ones:) ). So, that’s why I love to do businesses with people/companies that have something to lose if something is going wrong. Because this is a positive stress that keeps them focus on the end result. I prefer to pay a premium, just to know that if something is wrong with the product, the entity that sold it to me will take care of me, that will make me happy. Big corporations have something to lose. Big brands have something to lose. People that live through recommendations can loose everything if they screw up. Whenever is risk involved, I prefer to minimize the risk. Too many families to feed 🙂 We have a lot to lose, so do business with us: Kuantero, StartEvo, 59sec.:) We are predictable that we’ll take good care of you!...
