Free practical courses for children, parents and teachers through the “Kidibot AI Club – We use Artificial Intelligence to learn Romanian”

Starting in August 2023, on the Kidibot.md Educational Platform, children, teachers and parents from the Republic of Moldova can participate for free in the Kidibot AI Club to learn to use various applications containing Artificial Intelligence.

The project is financed by the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova (DRRM) within the Government of Romania.

Artificial Intelligence is increasingly present in our lives. Thousands of new apps have appeared in recent months, some generating answers to text, images, others, music, equations. Children are willing to experiment. Teachers are curious how to better engage their students. Young people must be prepared for the jobs of the future.

In this context, Kidibot, through the Kidibot AI Club, motivates, guides and directs everyone’s energy so that the adoption rate of these new tools increases and they have a long-term competitive advantage. How the project will be carried out: periodically, Kidibot will email club members a challenge involving the use of Artificial Intelligence tools. Separately, micro-courses will be made available to participants so they know how to solve the challenge. At the end of each challenge, participants receive feedback.

There will also be online meetings with club members to share their creations and ask questions.

Examples of periodic challenges:

• Create a funny meme, using the imgflip.com tool, in Romanian
• Create a comic story with characters from Romanian fairy tales, using MidJourney
• Publish your own book in Romanian in AMAZON KDP or Google Play. Thus, children will be able to boast that they are authors of books. Participation in the Kidibot AI Club is free.
